Can I use a midi controller to control Piano and Locally play organ

Would like to have my Yamaha MODXM7 play just nord Piano and have the Electro 5D play organ local control.
Is this possible?

Yes it is, check the MIDI paragraph of your NE5 manual and particularly the section Scenario 3: Nord Electro 5 receiving MIDI on Part Upper in
MIDI Upper Receive mode
