Right, I want to make BandHelper the central hub for changing programs on the NS3 and the Uhl with no need to adjust program orders or song mode on the NS3 each time we change the set list for a gig, since it’s created anyway in BandHelper already.

Now just need to find out if the iPad Air transmits audio via USB to the Key Largo, or if I would need an external audio interface like my Zoom UAC-232

The iPad will transmit audio to the Key Largo. Be careful to select 'other device' and not 'headphones' when iOS asks what kind of device is connected when you first connect the KL to the iPad. If you select headphones iOS does annoying audio processing, which, trust me, you don't want!

Thank you!

Is there a USB-C adapter recommended for connecting both a USB-C power supply and the USB cable to the Key Largo, in case the Key Largo will not power the iPad?

Any powered usb-c with iPad compatibility hub will do the job (you can find many, just search for "usb-c hub iPad" on the web or in ... the usual famous e-commerce site ;-) ), there is also the Apple official "usb-c AV Multiport adapter", but of course it costs more and has only 1 USB A port

You are going to need two devices because apparently nobody makes a USB audio interface with more than 1 MIDI port, or any multi-port MIDI interfaces that also support audio.

1. Audio Interface with a USB hub (something like the Novation Audio Hub) - You would connect your iPad to this.
2. MIDI host interface. (Something like the CME H4MIDI) - You would connect this to the Novations USB hub.
