Here are some Informations from Dave Weiser from Music Player Network Forum:

I'd seen some conflicting info online regarding the new Kawai hammer action being used in the upcoming Electro 7 HP, so I thought I'd do some digging.

I asked Nord's head of US sales (I'm a dealer) to look into the matter, specifically asking whether or not the new action is the exact same action as the Kawai action used in the Nord Grand 2. He directly asked the head guys at the Nord factory and received a clear answer:

"The new HP keybed is indeed not the same as on the Grand 2. What can be said is that it has been designed to be a light-weight (carry weight) keybed, which still provides a realistic piano action. In some respects, it will be similar to the Grand 2 (given that it’s a Kawai design), but the feel differs, where the slightly more “sophisticated” design of the Grand 2 keybed gets it closer to the experience of a grand piano action."

Love the former. Don't enjoy playing the latter. The Electro form factor is mighty convenient. If the Electro 7 "Kawai" key bed is a big step in the right direction (i.e., closer to the feel of the Nord Piano key bed), then it might be worth considering.
Closer to the former, from all accounts so far.

"Closer to the former, from all accounts so far." That was going to be my question also... if it's not really like the Kawai, is the feel more similar to my old Electro 3HP with hammer action keys? (Which I wouldn't mind.)

After looking at the posted manual, the two items (only) I seem to obsess about are not mentioned.

It looks like Piano Soft Release is gone from the E7 entirely.

9th drawbar cancel is not mentioned anywhere. But there NOW is a panel button that allows polyphonic percussion. I'll be blunt here - that is the absolute stupidest thing I think I've ever seen on a B3 emulation. Why include something so unrealistic over a simple capability we've all been asking for.

What are they thinking?

I don't really know why anyone would want poly percussion, unless they were trying to make a patch that sounds like an older sampled organ from a workstation. Very odd.

According to the User Manual there is 1 GB piano sample memory, but I cannot find the synth sample memory size info.

Pretty sure it is the same as Electro 6.
