Re: New! Nord Electro 7!
Agreed - a memory bump would have been nice, particularly since the piano samples are getting bigger and bigger.
In the earlier iterations, the Electro piano memory did lag behind the Stage. That was up to the NE5 or NE6.

512MB Sample Memory? I would have expected 1GB for sure!
I could not give two hoots about the pitch/mod situation

Re: New! Nord Electro 7!
So... will the higher price mean that the triple sensor finally works over MIDI, and will the stage get a firmware update accordingly?

We hear you

We appreciate you passionate engagement and feedback on the Nord Electro 7. Playability and real time control is something we always strive to improve. You made it clear that the new synth section deserves a pitch stick and modulation wheel. We have now decided to add these features to the 73 and HP models.

Re: New! Nord Electro 7!
Whoah !
If they can also add at least 50% more memory for both the piano section and the sample section, that would be fantastic !!

Interesting they didn't kill off the vibrato button since it's now potentially redundant. Wonder what parameters the wheel will be able to control.
Sounds like they don't actually have the production model ready yet. It would be nice to see the Piano Soft Release button back on the panel. And, yea, increased piano memory. Or maybe they haven't published the memory specification since it's not finalized.

You're never really satisfied, but I'm pleasantly surprised that they made this change so soon after announcing it – they don't seem to be as ignorant as many people think.

Re: New! Nord Electro 7!
I saw this photo on Instagram and thought it was just someone’s joke using Photoshop. But then I took a closer look and saw that this was from the official page of the Nord. What a surprise. Honestly, I didn’t think that this would ever happen))) especially under the weight of user complaints). I think we need to try and maybe they will double our memory))) there is still time before the exhibition, friends!))))
Re: New! Nord Electro 7!
Well, I really believe that this was planned from the outset. You don't do something like this just a few days after announcing a new model. Very strange...

Re: New! Nord Electro 7!
Great to see a pitch stick and modulation wheel. This will sounds like a NS3 Light.
