Struggling with Nord Sound Manager

Post by ReubenJohn »

I'm a relatively new Nord Piano 6 owner and I want to remove two (approximately 100mb ea) pianos I rarely use and load the new Astoria Grand (approximately 200mb). If I try to delete either of the 100mb pianos I get warning messages about them being in several programs and it says to substitute instead. Buty I cant substitute because I'm trying to substitute a 100mb piano with a 200mb piano.
How do I remove the two I dont want and replace them with the Astoria? I don't mind if all the programs associated with the two being removed get replaced wuth the Astoria.

You can try to substitute them with a smaller version of the Astoria first (e.g. the M) and then upgrade (substitute) it to the XL version. Or just delete them, then from the Programs tab you you can replace them in the Programs which used them (and will now show the warning)

Thank you very much - good suggestion and I'll give it a go.
