I need to know if this Nord EP30 pedal will mount onto the mounting bracket of the Nord Pedal Keys 27.

I know it mounts onto the Nord Pedal Keys 25 but need to know for the 27 pedalboard.

Thank you!

the two pedal boards have completely different attachment methods for the swell pedal. So it's very unlikely that you would be able to attach without modifications.

The pedalboard 27 attaches using the existing feet screw holes and the pedalboard 25 attaches via a large thumbscrew through the center of the expression pedal

Yes but the thumb screw secures the mounting brack in place. The pedal unit can be dismounted from that bracket so you have a separate pedal and mounting bracket as two separate parts.

Im wanting to know if i can put the EP30 pedal into the mounting bracket for the pedal keys 27.
There are about 4 or so small screws that secure the pedal to the mounting bracket.

Then you mount the whole thing onto the pedalboard with rhe thumb screws.

I was told by a supplier that you can but im skeptical as to whether they understood what i was asking.

That was exactly what I was referring to. The pedal to bracket method is deferent. The 27 attaches the pedal to the bracket using the screw holes for the feet on the pedal. The 25 attaches the EP30 pedal via a thumbscrew in the center of the pedal, not by using the screw holes for the feet on the EP30.

If by some miracle the two pedals have the same exact footprint and the holes for the feet are in the same location, than you could simply attach the EP30, but I'm guessing that is not the case. The only way to know for sure is to either get the mechanical specs showing the actual dimensions for both pedals or purchase the EP30 and see for yourself.

Hey folks!
I just picked up an EP 30 for my NS 4. I haven’t tried it yet (using it on a gig later). Anyone have any idea what pedal I should select in the menu since there is no “Nord” selection (I haven’t upgraded to latest OS, which might have that selection)? I’ve been using the Yamaha FC-7 and I guess I can see if it works on that selection. Ideas?
Thanks,
Jeff

With firmware 1.60 or 1.62 you can choose "Nord" :-)

Would you be able to take a photo of the underside of the EP pedal?
What are the dimensions of the underside of the pedal without the mounting bracket?
Thank you!
