Remove Incoming Velocity Data? (NS3)

I am using a Sonuus G2M to trigger samples on my Stage 3 from my mic'd sax. The only issue is that the velocity sensitivity gives far too much dynamic range, and it's really exaggerating the dynamics in the samples. As a test, I piped everything through Cantabile on my PC to try it without any velocity data, and it works much better. So now I'm looking for a way (without having to put a laptop in the middle) to strip or at least seriously reduce the velocity data that's coming into the NS3. I know that there are ways to suppress the velocity data coming out of the NS3, but is there any way to block the velocity coming in[/n]?

Just a check, have you configured the internal dip switches of the Sonuus G2M to work in V (voice/wind) mode (as by default it is configured for a guitar signal and in general the G2M was born for guitar/bass)?

If yes, check if the G2M clip led is lighting too frequently, if so you may need to attenuate the mic signal in some way (using a mic preamp in the middle for example)

Then, if you want to completely remove the velocity, why don't you just disable it in the NS3 Synth for those Programs/Synth Sounds triggered by your sax (or edit them to reduce its effect)?

Maxpiano's suggestion of just turning off the velocity sensitivity for the specific patch is simple and free! The only limitation being that you can't apply it to sounds from the Piano library. The MIDI Solutions box is another good idea. Also, there are iPad apps that will do these kinds of things (an iPad being less of a hassle on stage than a laptop... and these days, lots of people have them with them anyway, for lyrics/charts whatever).
