Hammond EXP 50J

my Hammond EXP 50J Pedal doesn´t work with a Nord Electro 5 hp. What can I do to solve the problem?

Hi,

I assume you connect it to the Control Pedal plug, right? (Just to exclude the potential mistake of plugging it into the wrong plug)

I don’t know the Hammond pedal but can you explain in more detail what you are experiencing, especially

- what does not work exactly, like is there no response at all from the pedal or does it not fully work as expected?

- which settings have you tried in the system menu for the Control Pedal?

- do you see any values displayed when for example changing the gain setting for the Control pedal and moving the pedal?

- did the Hammond pedal work flawlessly with another instrument, to make sure it’s not damaged?

It might well be that the Hammond pedal is not compatible since it’s not on the list of pedals to be chosen in the system menu, and if it’s got known to be compatible to one of those on that list
