Same here. It always reoccurs.

First the board wouldn't let me login, then finally it worked, now since a few hours I can't logout.

It has been broken for me at least two days. I’m hopeful it was just a glitch. Trying this to see if it works.

I'm able to access threads when I use the forum overview and consecutively the sub forums; if I want to use the What's New feature, the threads are visible but not accessible. At least my assumption from what I experience.

Yes, I also see something similar happening, it seems some functionalities are not always working, maybe some change/problem in the backend of the forum hosting server (?). Hope Johannes (the admin) knows more about it and is maybe already taking action

Same here. I also get the „forbidden“ message. Very frustrating.

Cheers

I am also getting the same behavior with the forbidden error. I noticed that the URL in the address bar contained a parameter “sid=nnnnn” with some long identifier value. If I delete that parameter from the URL and press enter, it works again (at least until another one of those gets added). Not sure what SID would be in the case. It kind of sounds like “session identifier”, but that wouldn’t be it. Session IDs are usually sent as a cookie; and when I delete it I am still logged in. Maybe some tracking cookie or something that the backend doesn’t like.

Hi all,

I am sorry for the recent disturbances. But we had otten for the second time now some serious DDOS attacks on this forum (like on several other websites at least that I am aware of), and had to take measures to avoid the server shutting down. Now some geo regions have been blokced temporarily, but the forum should be up again.

Sorry for the inconveniences, should be back now.

Best
Johannes

Hey - something is going on.
Tried this morning, no login possible.

Now (11:35 CEST): MAC/Safari, iOS/Safari, Win11/Chrome, Android/Chrome: I could login and reply.

Looks like fixed?

Helmut
Kind regards,
Helmut
