Nord sound manager Questions

I received Nord Stage 4 today and turned on the sound manager to put in the sound, but the downloaded sound shows a red download mark. What does the key mark mean under the inst mark?

Hi KJH,

I just downloaded an EP using the latest Sound Manager (v 9.16) and I wasn't able to duplicate what you see.

Does the downloaded instrument appear in the Stage 4, or does the download not work at all? Keep in mind that you have to go to the appropriate Category on the Stage (Grand, Upright, Electric, etc.) to see the newly downloaded instrument.

check your OS version and update if needed...sometimes an instrument is boxed up by Nord prior to an OS release / upgrade.

It's always a good idea with Nord instruments to read the manual: It's short and well written. I hope you find through the English version. Some specific terms are useful to be adopted: program, sample etc.

Make sure you have memory protection disabled, have some free space on your keyboard and really have downloaded what appears with a red mark (whatever that looks like - I can't remember having seen that).

Trivial question.. it sounds like you only opened up sound manager and downloaded the sounds to the computer (sound saved offline)?
Make sure your Nord is connected via USB and then transfer the sound to your Nord (download to instrument)
