“Games People Play” song by The Alan Parsons Project

I own a Nord Stage 4 and have been working on using its arpeggiator to create the arpeggiated sound in this song. Has anyone already done this? Any patch I could use? What I have isn’t bad, but it’s not great either.

Meanstwhile, I will keep working this song from the album “The Turn of a Friendly Card”

Thanks in advance

Hi Larry,
here's my attempt:

One split
upper zone - the saw-based synth-line with arp (KDB hold is active - 'cause it's running through the whole song...)
originally it is in b minor - played as a quint-intervall for the arp - on a NS4 compact you can't press b & f#...so I pitched the synth two
semitones up - now I can press a & e
lower zone - mainly a bright piano - for the spacey part before the solo you can fade in two synth layers (choiresque pad sound and another pad with
aftertouch as a morphing source for filter move and ring mod amount...) all pads with much reverb...

It's not perfect, but a good starting point to tweak for your likes...

Hope you like it.

Regards
Tim
