Hi
I have an electro 5 that just started having issues with the A4 key.
It's completely dead on some voices/sounds, yet works normally on others. It's very consistent on this....in other words, if its dead on a certain sound, it will always be dead when you come back to that sound after trying others etc.
Is this a software update issue? I've never updated anything on it.
thanks

This is NOT a software issue.
you have dust or dirt under the key switch. it’s a multi-layer switch that has a high and low contact which is part of how velocity is calculated. most likely the high switch contact is still working, so things like the organ engine are still working, and sounds that use the piano engine are broken.
