Noise burst when using Sample Editor

Hi,

I use the latest version of the Sample Editor (V4.32) on a Windows 11 PC and also connected a Nord Stage 3 via USB.

I have a MOTU 828 MK3 as an audio interface and a MOTU 828 MK2 as an ADAT expansion connected to the MK3.

When I start up the Sample Editor the MOTU MK3 produces a very loud noise.
Only when I disconnect the ADAT cable from de MK2 to the MK3 it stops.

I just cannot figure out where this loud noise comes from.
