Q: Is it possbile to have all four layers going out of output 1 and 2? I have slot A and B set to "1Ab" and Slot C and D to "-cd" but slot C and D are still going out of outputs 3 and 4

Rack 2 output question
Picked up a Rack 2 a few weeks ago for £300 on a whim. The synth looks like it is a year or two old, it's in mint condition and built like a tank. Loving it so far.
Q: Is it possbile to have all four layers going out of output 1 and 2? I have slot A and B set to "1Ab" and Slot C and D to "-cd" but slot C and D are still going out of outputs 3 and 4

If I remember correctly, output routing is limited for NL1/2. Have you tried the combo of ab2 and cd- mode? Also, check midi channel settings (in both your rack and your controller) to verify everything is in order. Racks have a... peculiar way with slot switching.
