Where to get nord Stage 2/3

Post by mcusoh »

Hello All,
Does anyone know any places to purchase a Nord stage 2/3 for a lower price under $5000 CAD/3500 USD perhaps? I am looking to use it for a church but are in a tight budget. Thanks!

There are plenty of used NS3 Compacts around for between $3600-$3900 USD on reverb.com, so that's the going price now -- they used to be around $3000 if that's any solace. I wouldn't go as far back as NS2, best to try and scrape together a bit more to get the right instrument.
I think I have gear issues ....

Hello!

What are your preferences?
Have you also considered a different keyboard?

You might be able to use the Johannus ONE keyboard.
I estimate it would be more suitable for a church than the NS2/3 and it costs less than $3000.

Note. I like both, I have personal experience with the NS2 and the ONE also.

I have looked at some Yamaha CP/YC ones but I would much rather stay with nord. I am specifically looking for one with many layers for synth and keys.

With Nord Stage 2/3 you don't have "many" layers, you have 2 Piano sections and 2 Synth sections; if you need more better look at workstations or a setup with a master keyboard (best if with USB Audio onboard) + computer/tablet and Virtual Instruments

Yeah, I use mainstage on my nord sometimes so that works out too.

I just checked this out and was amazed that the used prices are 10% more than I paid for my NS3 in 2017! Talk about resale value, cannot beat a Nord Instrument-

Hi, I have a Stage 3 88 keys in mint condition. It probably only has 3 hours of play time on it and has never left my home music room. I also have the Nord 3 pedal unit. I just never play it and it's far more complicated than my mind can handle. Reach out if you are interested. If I sell it I'm not looking for an arm and a leg for it.
