Nord Electro 5D 61 - odd key click in b3

It is frustrating I know. Even the lowest setting is too much. On a real Hammond, it’s one of the anomalies that makes it so expressive, but that artificial tkk tkk tkk Nord added is really distracting. In the lower-mid range the click is louder than the actual note. Ok for rock or R&B I suppose, but a useless board for trio jazz gigs where the organ carries the sonic weight. The NE is a bit too brittle for me.

I hang onto it but I love the size..perfect for dragging around to rehearsals.

You can try to apply some EQ (cutting Treble) to make the click less present and/or select a different Organo Mode between Normal and Vintage 1/2 (which should changes also the click character).

Also....I noticed on this same page that under the sound menu, you can set the amount of click for the B3 model to low, normal or high....normal is the default.

Or "Higher" on the 5D!
I like "high"
