Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere - I couldn't find an answer, but I'm new to the forum. I have a festival gig this weekend with a short changeover, and it's going to be easier (logistically) for me to use the Nord Piano 2 supplied as part of the backline rather than my Roland RD-88. From reviews and other material online, I can see that there will be plenty of the main sounds I need: lots of variations of Acoustic pianos and Electric pianos (both Rhodes and Wurlitzer), etc. But I also need a decent rock organ sound if possible. It doesn't matter if I cannot get drawbar effects for just the 2 songs that call for this. Does the default Nord Piano 2 sound set have a usable organ preset anywhere? I have read that it would not be the first choice for organ sounds, but in this instance I would just be grateful of where to look so I can quickly identify and access this sound on an unfamiliar instrument.
I'd be most grateful for any assistance, or direction to a relevant post in the forum. Many thanks in advance.
Nord Piano 2 default sounds: usable organ preset?

Re: Nord Piano 2 default sounds: usable organ preset?
Nord doesn't provide any hammond organ sound in their sample library -- the Stage and Electro series have a full organ engine, and the Piano series has nothing in that respect. User WannitBBBad has uploaded a few organ samples on this forum to use with a Piano, and your Piano 2 will be able to load them via Nord Sound Manager if you delete some other samples.
But: I'm not sure if they ever got tested on a Piano 2 (released in 2010, so up to 15 years old). How much time do you have for that?
Have a look for the sounds: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=21307. You would need to store the nsmp files to your computer, then open Nord Sound Manager on site, download them to the Piano 2 and create a preset using one of them. Even if it's not a big deal if you are used to it (may take a moment to download), it may be something I wouldn't want to do on an unfamiliar instrument an hour before the gig.

Thanks so much, FZiegler! I might have to try and get my Roland onto the stage instead…I'm certain that there won't be time for me to download from a laptop.

"I also need a decent rock organ sound if possible". Unlikely, even with samples. I'd grab another keyboard, or consider an iPad running B3-X.
