I wanted to ask anybody of you if you guys have had the chance to connect a ns stage 4 to an external bose soundtouch 20 speaker using a 1/8 trs to double 1/4” cable?
Is this something safe to do considering the nord?
the reason why im asking is because i tried it and speaker made a loud sound and keyboard sound would sound but for instance it wouldn’t. Honestly i don’t know if this connection was safe for the instruments out put.

Re: Audio doubt
Haven't tried that specifically, but -- no -- you won't hurt your keyboard, it's the output device.
However, you may have overloaded the input levels on your bose soundtouch 20 speaker, and it shut down to protect itself.

I think I have gear issues ....

Re: Audio doubt
I suppose that the 1/8“ TRS goes into the BOSE‘s input and the two 1/4“ TS come out of the STAGE 4‘s output, right? Then it depends on whether the cable is made like a splitter or like an effect‘s insert cable. With the insert‘s routing I wouldn‘t see any reason why it shouldn‘t work. You only may have to search left and right channel plug then.
