Hey, it has been a while since I last dropped by here.
Last year, I ended up releasing a track that features the White Grand from my Nord. I recorded it through a Switchcraft SC702CT direct box and an Aphex 1788A preamp.
The sound came out wicked clean and full—no hype, just pure detail. The White Grand really came alive in the mix, and I was honestly pretty stoked with how everything turned out.
If anyone’s been wondering how the White Grand holds up in a real release situation, this might give you an idea. Let me know what you think if you get around to listening.
