I read many post here and I would like to double check if my understanding is correct:
Sound Manager cannot be used under Linux Wine because the Nord USB driver cannot be installed. Right?
The only way to use Nord Sound Manager is under a Virtual Box Windows machine. Right?

Right, or at least it is the easiest/safest, as discussed here some time ago viewtopic.php?p=154798&hilit=Sound+Mana ... ux#p154798

Re: Sound Manager with LINUX
My understanding is that mainly the special USB drivers from Nord necessary for communication do not work under wine. My solution is to use quickemu to install Widows with least effort (only two commands necessary after installation of quickemu). Works well and you can easily pass-through the USB hardware into the virtual machine. For information see e.g.:

Re: Sound Manager with LINUX
I installed QEMU in Mint and run WIN11 virtualized: installed NORD USB driver and Sound Manager. It works perfectly.
