Thanks. Mainly piano playing, but recently I decided to start on synt and organ as well...I'm tempted to go C.
oo
It's your choice finally, I'd not say the HA73 is "superior" to the SW73, just "different"; one is better for pianos and the other for all the rest, but you can play any type of sounds on both, just of course playing a piano will feel more natural on a HA and viceversa playing organ & synths more on the waterfall, so finally it all depends on your priorities. If you keep the Compact you can always add an external weighted master later (and viceversa of you go for the HA)
Thank you, really appreciate your time to deal with my problems. Likely to keep the C, already have the 515 for beautiful HA.
Males sense, then just try to MIDI your P515 to the NS4 and you will discover a new dimension of Nord piano sounds (granted) ;-)

That was me about a decade ago -- a heavy-duty piano player, but wanted to get good at organ, synth, orchestral samples etc.

I couldn't get there on weighted Nord keybeds, the action was just too heavy, but I was able to make progress on the unweighted Electro.

I got the NS3C when it first came out, and started to make even more progress. Things got even better when I started running everything off of a single board with a single control surface vs. trying to coordinate programs across two different keyboards. I also gave up all my outboard effects, simplifying things even further.

So, yeah, I consider the NS4C the heart of my rig, just like the NS3C before it. Probably the best part is that I have zero interest in upgrading any portion of it.

Well, maybe one of those cool-looking Nord expression pedals :)
I think I have gear issues ....

Someone mentioned the YC61. I think its keybed is very cheap.
After coming from a Electro 5d Waterfall, the YC61 was a disappointment for me.
The Nord waterfall (electro or Stage Compact) is much better.

For my Stage 4 I decided for 73 hammer action.
Compared to other E-Pianos it is relatively light.
The perfect keyboard for piano, but also good enough for organ and synth.
Much better than YC88 or V-Stage-88.
