Was playing a song last night in the Dflat Major. At the Middle C Register when I play the Dflat and Eflat simultaneously nothing sounds. Same if I hit Dflat & D simultaneously, or D & Eflat simultaneously. After a while I noticed that it will work intermittently but not very often. I would assume this is a hardware issue. I can all other keys simultaneously on the keyboard and it works fine.
Thoughts?

Re: Stage 3 Issue
Just to confirm, you can play each of the keys individually but not together correct?MB5251 wrote: ↑28 Mar 2025, 23:58 Was playing a song last night in the Dflat Major. Re: Stage 3 Issue
First thing I would do is open up the case and snug down the ribbon connectors -- which were a known problem with some of the early Stage 3s. After that, I'd take a look at blowing out the key contact mechanisms with compressed air.MB5251 wrote: ↑28 Mar 2025, 23:58 Was playing a song last night in the Dflat Major. I think I have gear issues ....
Re: Stage 3 I
Yes for the most part. There are times though after trying to play them simultaneously and they don’t sound that they won’t play individually for a little bit….cgrafx wrote: ↑29 Mar 2025, 00:02Just to confirm, you can play each of the keys individually but not together correct?MB5251 wrote: ↑28 Mar 2025, 23:58 Was playing a song last night in the Dflat Major. Re: Stage 3 Issue
You may have some dust, dirt, grime etc. in your key contacts that are conspiring. If the prior suggestions aren’t helping, you could open it up and spray compressed air on the key contacts or some Electro Wash.
