I’m traveling and not with my gear. I am 99% sure that particular sample is a stock Nord sample either shipped on board or available on Nord’s site. Do a search and I suspect you’ll find it.ovrdrvn wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025, 17:51I see a sample called Sect Sus Dbl...is that available here?ericL wrote: ↑24 Sep 2021, 23:18 Last one for today is Sledgehammer

Didn't see it but will look again. Didn't seem to come with the NS4 best I can tell.

Re: Ask me anything - NS3 earning its keep
Probably it is from older Nord Sample library versions (I remember it on my NS2 so v2) and maybe still present in v4 but with a different name (look into the Brass category for Brass Ensamble samples)

Re: Ask me anything - NS3 earning its keep
Thanks for this! I can't try it because I have an NS2. But I opened it in File Viewer for Nord Stage. I see that you have two saw synths, one an octave higher than the other. But on the one you have this Super Wave Saw / Mix Saw feature that I don't have on the NS2. What is that and any idea how I can emulate that on my NS2?ericL wrote: ↑28 Oct 2021, 19:22I'm attaching Working for the Weekend. No time to make a demo of this at the moment. It's a pretty straightforward stacked bright synth and I believe I have an organ sound with volume morph assigned to the control pedal that I bring in during the choruses.
P.S. I actually found two WFW programs on my laptop, though I cannot remember if they are any different from one another. I usually use a single program for this song. You can check them out and see what you think. Another time when I have my NS3 set up, I can take a peek to see what I was thinking with two different programs.
Thanks!
Dave

I have a NS2 program for this song, as I’ve played it for many years. Next time I have my laptop I will see if it’s saved there or I can upload from my NS2. It will be very similar to my NS3 program.reggoboy wrote: ↑24 Mar 2025, 16:06Thanks for this! I can't try it because I have an NS2. But I opened it in File Viewer for Nord Stage. Re: Ask me anything - NS3 earning its keep

ericL wrote: ↑14 Nov 2023, 16:28Sure thing. I have attached the main NS3 program as well as the sample from the Who song. There's a split with the sample in the lower portion of the keyboard. Playing C will trigger the right pitch/tempo to match the song. I have it set to hold the sample loop running, though you may want to turn this off during the verse of the song and retrigger the sample every few measures unless your drummer is really good at following the sample tempo.gboneq1 wrote:Would you be able to share your patch/program you use for playing "Eminence Front?"
I'm having trouble getting correct myself on my NS3
Thanks in advance
Above the lower split is a big layered EP sound with lots of delay and other effects. Hope you like it!
