Nord Sample Editor Looping Issue
I created some looping samples for my Nord Stage 4. And I notice that when I put the loop on, and set the loop start at the very beginning of the samples in the Nord Sample Editor, it would click at the loop start. Even though it wouldn't click when I loop the samples in a DAW. After I did some digging, I found out that the loop start doesn't go all the way to the start of the sample. It starts at 92 smp. Which is about 2 ms. I'm not sure why Nord decided to do this. But I thought that was kinda interesting that they did that. On the bright side, there is a work around. Which I did, by starting the sample 92 smp earlier. And when I did that, I didn't hear anymore clicks at the loop start after that.

Did you try to disable / enable "snap to phase"?

Re: Nord Sample Editor Looping Issue
I did it with the "Snap To Phase" disabled. Like I said. I did find a work around. So it's not a deal breaker issue for me. But I do kinda wish Nord would fix this issue.

Re: Nord Sample Editor Looping Issue
Which DAW do you use for looping? I prefer for the loop to not start exactly at the beginning of the wave as it often has an attack and intial decay that I don't want in the sound that's looped. For some complex samples, getting a nice loop with NSE4 still requires turning off "snap to phase", taking X-Fade to 0, zooming in on the wave to hit the zero crossing at the start and matching the end of the loop the same way, and then leveling if needed with the level envelope. It would be interesting to test looping a few of those with a DAW. Cheers!

Re: Nord Sample Editor Looping Issue
My DAW of choice is Ableton Live. And I use Ableton's Sampler for my looping samples.WannitBBBad wrote: ↑27 Feb 2025, 15:39 Which DAW do you use for looping?
