Nord Stand EX - second tier?

Hi all

Rocking my NP5 on the classy Nord Stand EX is a perfect setup for piano-gigs : however, sometimes the occasion calls for some analog synth juice, and I might be inclined to bring my Sequential Pro 3 or my trusty Prophet 6 along for the ride ... However - those times I would often like to have the synth above the piano - like on the second tier of a two-tier stand - but I would also like to use the Nord Stand EX for the NP5.

I have been thinking about placing the synth on something like a x-stand raised up behind/over the NP5, but dont really like the fact that this prevents me from angling the synth so that I can reach the various pots and dials to fiddle with the sound... so every time i start investigating this i end up ditching the Stand EX for these gigs and just going with some other 2-tier solution (i know - there are good stands that will do the job AND look the part - I have a Ultimate Support VS88 PRO with the second tier - but still... that Nord Stand EX i sweeeeet...).

Hi!

A tempting idea to have a 2nd tier for the Nord Keyboard stand EX.

I will try to present you a possible solution:
since you are already using the Ultimate Support VS88 PRO with the second tier,
I drew a bracket - a connection between the Nord KeybStandEX and the Ultimate VSIQ-200B.
This pair of new parts will be attached to the Nord KeybStandEX by its legs and will serve to attach the 2nd tier. See the picture.

I did not find a photo of the attachment part for the VSIQ-200B, but the basic Ultimate VSIQ-200B has a plug in the tube, which is probably removed to attach the 2nd tier. So my suggestion could be correct.

Hopefully it will help if you have the possibility of manufacturing it within reach.
