Re: Converting Nords between European and North American Pow
It's really a good idea to look for a YT video for that. And take photos of some steps you do - if there is any doubt for reassembling.

Does this also apply to the Nord Stage 4? This post was made before the Stage 4 was released, so just making sure

Re: Converting Nords between European and North American Pow
the power supply used in many Nord models is the same. there is nothing structural about the NS4 design that would warrant changing the power supply.
i’m absolutely sure, that even if they have switched to an updated supply, it will still be designed with the same voltage select switch.

Thank you for providing this valuable information regarding the power conversion for Nord keyboards. Your detailed instructions on changing the power supply settings and the fuse specifications will undoubtedly help many Nord users facing this issue. Having a clear reference like this can save people a lot of time and potential confusion. Great job in consolidating this information in one place!

Re: Converting Nords between European and North American Pow
Hello,
Thank you all for the dialogue in 'ere and the useful info.
Context: From the USA, moved a Stage 3 to the UK.
Littlefuse is a USA based company, so shipment to UK comes with additional cost/challenge. Plus maybe customs issues.
After a little while I found a UK local supplier of these : https://docs.rs-online.com/6201/0900766b813d73e9.pdf
here is the supplier: https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/cartridge-fuses/8527106
and I looked at the American rated fuse within my Stage 3, just so happens to say BUSSMAN on it. grey end-cap.
Forever yours,

Re: Converting Nords between European and North American Power
Im from the US, and have my Nord with me on a European tour right now… I’ve converted the switch inside my Nord and bought the right fuses, but cannot find the fuse holder anywhere.
Does anyone have a recommendation for where I can find one in Italy or Spain (hopefully Italy because I’d love to use my Nord these first few shows), or even an online shop that will be a quick delivery to my hotel. Down to overnight something if there is a Mouser type shop.
Or, worst case I guess I can use a stepdown converter?
Thanks’

Re: Converting Nords between European and North American Power
The fuse holder is located here:

You need a screwdriver to rotate it out. Be sure to disconnect the power first.
If you need a replacement fuse holder, the cartridge that holds fuse part number depends on the size of fuse. Since you're coming from the US, the part number is either for the:
schurter 0031.1661
schurter 0031.1666
The only difference is the color of the plastic for these two part numbers.
