Preset Sample list of NORD keyboards

Since I'm interested in what piano and synth samples other Nord devices like e.g. NS4 or NP6 are delivered, I'm looking for a preset list.

I thought I had seen a list like this on the Nord website a few years ago, but I can't find one like this at the moment! ?

Any advice ?

For the Stage series, you can load the factory backup in the Nord File Viewer and export the preset names with some info on how the program are built.

Well-intentioned advice, but I don't see all the samples for Piano and Synth on a complete list this way and unfortunately it is only for the stage series.

You do, unzipping the Factory Backup creates specific folders for Piano samples and Synth Samples that you can browse and see all of them.

We had a sheet on the forum that listed all piano samples loaded in the different product lines and generations when distributed. I just can't find it - it was probably contributed by Gambold, IIRC. But it won't contain the newest ones.

As sonic factory content on the Electro, Stage or Piano lines should be considered as a first approach only, I don't see so much evidence for that. And I'm not aware that lists like that exist in the public.

The hint of Max about unzipping the factory restore file to see the content is the way to go. You may try to create such a list from there, and post it here for others who migh tbe interested in it as well?

Nord used to have the pianos and samples lists for each of their boards online. That has been removed since the website overhaul. Which is too bad, because it was quite interesting. Now the easiest way to see them is to download a factory sound bank file from the Downloads section of the website, which will appear as a folder that you open and view the different samples.

You can also download the Factory Restore file, rename its extension to .zip, extract the contents, and get/view the individual samples that way, although that is a tedious and roundabout way to get at the individual samples. The Grand 2 and all the legacy models no longer have their sound bank downloads available; you now have to download their Factory Restore file and hack at it to view them.
