Sample mode and Sustain Pedal

Post by fabperily »

Hi everyone, I hope this hasn't been posted yet but I couldn't find anything after some research.

When I play any sound from the "SAMPLE" section of the oscillator, if I hold a chord with a sustain pedal and hit that chord again, it triggers another round of samples on top of the one that is already playing, and it keeps building up several times if I keep hitting the chord.
I was wondering if there is any way to change that and make it so that each key can only be triggered once at a time when sustained.

Thank you!

No, there is not. Of course you can release the sustain pedal and play again.

Thanks for the reply.
Yeah, you actually need to release the pedal AND the chord, so pretty much have a half second of silence before you play again if you have pressed your chord too many time.
I'm a huge fan of the NW2, it's insanely practical and sounds really decent, but it has a few things that feel like they were done super lazily.
