How to get the MP3-Player:
Upload a MP3 file where you play some notes using your sample.
Click the "PLACE INLINE" button after uploading the MP3 sample in order to automatically create a Flash MP3 player in your post!

Has anyone had any luck using this hack with the Stage 4 since the last post in August?

Anyone else managed to try this on a Stage 4 more recently?
One possible idea is to save it in nsmp3 format and import it that way. If nsmp3 is the only format which recognizes these velocity parameters, it's possible this could work. I know the file is converted to nsmp4 upon import to the Stage, but who knows...
