Electro 6D volume/swell pedal function

Post by ronkennebeck »

Hello,
I am using a Yamaha FC7 pedal for volume pedal control on my 6D. It works fine, maybe too good as it emulates the "swell" of a Hammond organ pedal. In other words, it does not go to 0db (off/silent). Does any to make one know if there is a way (besides an in-line volume pedal)to make themy FC7 turn the orgam volume completely off/silent?
Thanks

It foes not depend on the FC7, the Organ engine of your NE6 emulates the B3 behaviour of the swell pedal of a real Hammond, which never goes to 0 even when the physical pedal is fully up ( try Vox or Pipe emulations instead and you will notice that in those cases it will go to 0 instead)
