Lead 1: can I use one program slot to control an external synth?
Is it possible to use a single program slot of the original Lead as a midi controller? What I'm envisioning is having slots A-C to switch between the Lead's sounds, and then being able to switch to D to control an external synth (in my case, the Yamaha Reface YC). Is this a possibility? I believe the program slots can be set to different midi channels, but I don't know if this is for sending as well as receiving. Right now my Lead is at my parents house so I can't experiment with it, but I've been unable to find an answer for this online or in the manual.

NL1 manual at page 67 says Which MIDI Channel the Nord Lead transmits on depends on which of the four Program Slots is active, so...

LOL guess I missed that, thanks! Will have to retrieve my Lead and experiment, hopefully it works as smoothly as I'm thinking it should.maxpiano wrote: 07 Jul 2024, 21:48 NL1 manual at page 67 says Which MIDI Channel the Nord Lead transmits on depends on which of the four Program Slots is active, so...![]()
