Rack 2x Midi Pitch Wheel Performance ?

Hey Everybody,
Using the Nord Rack 2x with an Akai MPK61 as a controller. I am slowly switching to using Performances because I am starting to layer sounds, but I a cannot seem to get the Pitch wheel on the MPK to work with the Rack 2x. I have tried setting up the pitch wheel to the global midi channel setting on the Rack, and tried the individual midi channel settings that the slots are set to with no luck. I tried changing some of the Shift/Special settings but didn't get anywhere.
I'm also struggling with getting an expression pedal to work. I am able to assign a slider on the MPK to change Filter Cutoff (74), but when I assign the pedal to do same, nothing. Now this one could be the pedal itself (it is going through the MPK... the only thing plugged directly into the Rack 2x is the midi in cable from the MPK midi out)

Not sure what you are asking. The MPK can be broken up to many parts, each with a midi ch assignment. So on this particular performance, which is for the song Party Rock Anthem, I have the MPK keyboard split, I have the left side for playing the power chords on Midi ch1 (which is slot A and B) and I have the right side for playing the scratchy single note part on Midi ch 2. The scratchy sound pitch bends, so I have tried setting the Pitch Wheel on the MPK to Midi ch 2, but no matter what midi ch I set it, the nord doesn't seem to see it. I set it to Midi ch 1, and to Midi ch. 15, which is the what I have the nord global midi set to. The only thing that I can change on the mpk Pitch Wheel is the Midi ch.
Does that answer what you are asking? I'm still green on midi nomenclature...had to look up that cc stands for continuous controller.

My mistake..I figured it was a Nord problem because it was my first use of a Performance, but it ended up being the MPK. I used the MPK keyboard Split, and it had a secondary menu under Split which allows me to asssign the Pitch wheel and Expression pedals to either, or both, sides of the split. I am a victim of learning too many pieces of new gear at once!
