Sound transfer problem with Macbook

Everything about Nord keyboards in general; which one to choose, the sound manager, sample editor, and general discussion about the sample and piano libraries.

Sound transfer problem with Macbook

Post by cavstef »

Good morning. I have a NS 4 and a NW2 and a problem caused by my Mcbook Air M1.
When I want to move a Samples bank with the Sound Up function (Nord Sound Manager 8.0), I only get a portion of the sounds and not the whole bank.
Has anyone had the same problem?
Thank you

I haven't yet used NSM 8.0, so there may be something there. In general, be sure that you're selecting ALL the things you want to upload to your computer. By default, I think it will only take the sound highlighted (whether that's a sample, piano, program, etc.) and you'll have to highlight everything you wish to have in the upload file. When you do it for the first time, it will take a long time. Subsequent backups will be faster. You can also look into doing bundles if you have specific programs you want to save together with all the various elements saved (piano, sample, synth, etc.).
Nords: NE2, NS2 88, NS3 Compact x 2
Live rig: NS3, Vent, Radial KL-8, Shure PSM-900 IEM Rig, UE18 & UE7 IEMs.
Studio: Hammond A-101 & Leslie 122, Yamaha CP-80, Yamaha S90, NS2, DSI Prophet-6, Vent II, Roland JX-8P.
