Boss FS-6 question
Hi Everyone,
Has anyone managed to link up Boss FS-6 double switch unit with stage 4.
Can not seem to get it to work.'My keys to music' has a demo of it linked up to stage 3 so I know it works with stage 3.
Need it for program changes up and down, thinking now that it might have to be a Nord triple pedal.
Advice greatly appreciated.
Richard.

The Kawai GFP-3 is the best option to get a Tripal Pedal 2 ( https://www.thomann.de/de/kawai_gfp_3.htm). It is much cheaper and a lot of forum members are using it.fishingtrip wrote:Hi Everyone,

FS-6 works fine for Program up/down with my NS3 so I cannot see why it wouldn't on a NS4, you need a stereo (TRS) cable plugged in the A+B jack and set the 2 buttons as momentary.
WARNING: FS-6 has a 9V battery inside and will not work without or if not charged (FS7 does instead)

Hi, I've been trying to do this with the Stage 4. What are the instructions to use the FS-6 on the Stage 4? I cannot find a link to Mark's new information on the FS-6 with the Stage 4. Thank you!

Re: Boss FS-6 question
Hello, can you tell me if it is possible to switch layer scene to NS 4 with Boss Fs 6?

Re: Boss FS-6 question
Yes. Use a stereo cable from the middle jack on the FS-6 to the footswitch input of the NS4. Then select layer toggle from the footswitch menu for pedal A or B as you wish. Note that the Boss switch labelled A is actually footswitch B in the NS4 and vice-versa. Use the Boss in momentary mode. I use this all the time. Remember to shift and select the PEDAL option on the Nord's layer scene button to make the pedal active.
