Re: Who uses 'Grand Lady D' today?
As you can see from the chart below, the Grand Lady D has NOT been included as part of the Factory Loads since 2017. Clavia appears to have given up on the sample. It was once very popular, but most consider the White as an adequate Steinway replacement - even though it is sampled from a smaller Steinway (a Model B, I think). Notice that the Studio Grand 2, also a perennial favorite, has always been included and recently got a nice XL upgrade.

Thank you, Gambold. That gives more context.Gambold wrote:As you can see from the chart below, the Grand Lady D has NOT been included as part of the Factory Loads since 2017. Yes and the Grand Imperial (Bosendorfer) as well, even since NS2 at least; nice informative chart GamboldGambold wrote:Notice that the Studio Grand 2, also a perennial favorite, has always been included and recently got a nice XL upgrade.

Here's all the data for both Grands and Uprights I recorded. I could have gone back farther but things really thin out because of memory restrictions.

Re: Who uses 'Grand Lady D' today?
OK so probably I added the Imperial to my NS2 and it was not a Factory preload? (I though it was as I have been using it a lot, together with Bright Grand which arrived later).Gambold wrote:Here's all the data for both Grands and Uprights I recorded. Aren't there too many NO/NA on NS2EX column anyway?

You are right, my mistake!
Here is the corrected chart, with Stage 2 EX fixed. Same piano loads as the Electro 5, that same year:
