My Electro 6 HP power switch won't stay on when I release the button. I was able to keep it on by wedging a guitar pick to keep the button depressed.
Is there a fix for this problem?

Re: power switch won't turn on for my electro 6
Hi and welcome to the Forum.
Your problem is not common. This is the first instance I recall.
I guess that the switch mechanism failed and needs to be replaced. Hopefully your board remains under warranty and can be sent for repair.
Let us know what you find out.

Re: power switch won't turn on for my electro 6
This happened to me recently. I have not opened the board to check to see if it is an easily solved mechanical problem or if switch replacement is required. I looked at Syntaur and some other parts sites. The switch is soldered to the power supply PCB, so if you can solder to a PCB (4 legs) it’s a $30 fix to replace the switch. If not, it’s $275 to replace the power supply PCB which may have to be ordered from Sweden.
