Nord Stage 3 MIDI CC assignments

Hey guys,

first of all: Happy christmas!

I'm not sure if the topic has been already discussed, I have a specific issue regarding MIDI control.

Is there any MIDI CC channel assigned for Nord Stage 3

1) PAGE <> button
2) Song change (next/previous)
3) Program change (next/previous/page change)?

The published document of Nord does not include one of these assignments.

Hi jannispi, you too!

I think if it's not in the MIDI controller list on page 60 of the manual, it can't be controlled with CCs, another way to find out is to press the button, or turn the knob in question and check the MIDI coming from the Stage in a DAW, or MIDI monitor app, (sending CCs has to be enabled in the menu first of course).
Banks can be selected with CCs but Program change is a different kind of MIDI message altogether. Not sure what Songs are (technically), I have an old Stage that only has banks and programs.

Not clear what you are trying to attempt. In any case, there is no MIDI equivalent to the program up/down foot switch on the NS3.

Of course, you can use MIDI PC commands to switch programs; but you would need to know the starting point and some unit that's able to calculate the new MIDI command (MSB, LSB, PC).
