Nord Lead 3 schematic?
I had a repair guy look into a bad headphone jack on my NL3 and he replaced the jack but it didn't fix the issue, so he tried looking for a schematic online but no luck. Is there one available and is it likely going to be needed to find the cause of the problem? Thanks in advance

Re: Nord Lead 3 schematic?
I'm not aware of a schematic available online. You'd have to contact Clavia to try to get one. If you do, post it here!
A decent tech should be able to trace the headphone circuit pretty easily, though, that part of the board isn't terribly complicated.

Yeah, he's just a kid, so I guess I'll take it to a more experienced professional.
Not high hopes for getting anything regarding the NL3 from Clavia ...

Would love a copy of the schematic from anyone who has it. My NL3 arrives soon. I have the service manual, but there’s no diagrams in there.

Re: Nord Lead 3 schematic?
OK; there are schematic for NL2 in fact (which could also help as it may be similar as far as outputs section is concerned) but not for NL3 apparently, anyway: what is exactly the issue you have?

Re: Nord Lead 3 schematic?
Ahh, if they don’t exist, they don’t exist. That’s ok. Just wondered since Mr Marko above said “check your email” to someone else, so I wonder if it had been shared before.
I only got my NL3 yesterday, but I like to have service documentation stashed away for gear I own. It actually does have some issues, none that will require a schematic though:
- PSU has wire links for voltage rather than switch, will have to solder to avoid using external step down transformer I’m testing it with.
- Multiple buttons don’t register or require excessive force to register, or double trigger. Shift needs to be held hard.
- Main encoder is damaged, super lose and inside the PCB on the back of the encoder is bent away.
- Plastic LED lens for Slot C broken off.
- Aftertouch response poor on many keys, likely deteriorated foam strip.

I didn't say they don't exist, I said that actually they are not easily found just by a Google search (and I don't have them), but you may try to PM Mr. Marko and ask him.
