hi!
I have been enjoying my used Nord Stage classic. The first thing I did when I got it was update to the lastest OS version. I've also downloaded all sounds from the Library section in the Nord site. My question is....are all the piano's in the new version the same as the older versions? Or were new paino's added as new versions came out?
I'm wondering if I should go to the archives and download those files for my own library.
they look like the same piano sounds but can't really tell.
any info is appreciated. :)

Re: Nord Stage Library
no, they are different, sometimes new from scratch and sometimes minor ajustments of older versions. The newer ones are usually better, and some versions require a specific OS update to be downloadable. The newer OS should load all the versions (I think).

Re: Nord Stage Library
True, they should be better.
But I recall one or two years back there were preferences for older versions (in particular v3.2 Pianos for the Yamahas IIRC), so you can play around with some older versions.
You can find all Pianos ever released for the Nords on Mate Stubb's website: http://www.hotrodmotm.com/stagelibrary/
