Hi all!
I've recently bought an electro 3 to play with. And now I've also bought a roland vt-4 to use as a vocoder. When I use them together my keyboard seem to only send one note at a time. I want to play lush chords with the vocoder but I can't figure out how. Does anyone here know how to make sure my keyboard is sending out the correct midi?
Best wishes,
Martin

Re: Electro 3 midi problems
Hi Martin and welcome to NUF,
there is no setting which would make the NE3 send only one note, are you sure there is not something to check on the VT-4 side instead?

It very well might be! Thank you so much for your quick respons. Will my NE3 always send a blank midi through the midi-out?

Re: Electro 3 midi problems
Not sure what you mean by "blank MIDI", anyway I suggest to consult your NE3 manual (MIDI chapter) for details of settings and messages supported, you will see among the rest that NE3 always works in Mode 3 (Omni off, Poly) meaning it sends all Notes played, on the Channel you have set of course.marre wrote:It very well might be! PS: but I believe that most probably you need to set something on VT-4, check its manual for settings related to its MIDI IN
