Problem with Nord Electro / Not sounding in Piano mode

Hey dear friends! greetings from Chile!

I come from the guitar world wich is essentially furniture, far simplier than electronics so i am kinda lost here and i would very much aprecciate your help..... I have purchased an old Nord Electro, first version i think... it was very beaten up, but after a lot of cleanning and putting some heart to it.. its sounding and working fine... in Organ mode.... cause when you switch to Piano, half right of the keyboard doesent sound at all. Its just after the mark where the keyboard splits.
Im guessig it could be a software issue, cause it doesent look mechanical.... but i cant get it to update cause i simply dont know how.... i had to install a virtual machine with windows 7 32 bits to run old nord software, i succeded in connecting it to USB, but with the updater asking me to use MIDI all my previous efforts went to the toilet... i dont know what else to do... any ideas??

Hello and welcome to NUF.

since the organ only uses 1 of the key contacts (Hi/Lo trigger) but the piano uses both (to detect velocity), so it could be a non well seated connector of the cables connecting the keyboard to the mainboard: check them (disconnect and reconnect carefully, on both sides)
