Nordwave 2 - Change transposition via midi messages.

Good morning everyone.
I would like to replace my Nordwave keyboard with the Nordwave 2. I have seen the various features and big changes implemented in the new model. Among these features I would like to know if it is possible to change the total transpose of the Nordwave 2 by sending midi messages and not just manually as happens in Nordwave. This function is very important for me in live performances because I often change the keys of the songs frequently.

Hi and welcome to NUF.

There is no standard MIDI message associated to Transpose and in any case NW2 does not implement any CC for that purpose.

But I guess that, like on other Nord keyboards, also on NW2 you can set and save a per Program transpose, so you can create multiple versions of the same Program in different tonalities and recall the one you need, case by case.

PS: Nord Wave 2 manual is your friend + OS Update History, what's not written there 99.9% is not supported.

I have a north classic revision course B. I am able to transpose one song, but the transposition remains effective for the other songs. How can I record different transpositions for each of the songs so that they automatically switch to the key chosen for each song?

Hi, sorry but on Nord Stage Classic/EX the transpose is only available as a System (Global) setting, as you can see from its manual, so you cannot save it per program.
