With the current implementation can you easily select combinations (1, 2, 3, 1-2, 1-3, 2-3, 1-2-3)?

Or having a level trim in the synth parameters to offset individual synth volumes. Then it then would be very easy to slide the 3 faders up and down in concert and your mix would not get lost.
Let's discuss that in the other thread

Sorry, As I don't yet have a NS4 I can't try this out on my own. Based on your earlier comment "Suppose you have two out of three synth layers active, and you want to add the third, then you must press all three on/off buttons at once", I assumed that I could select 1-2-3 by hitting all three at once, or 1-3 by selecting 1 and 3 at once, and so on. Is that not the case? Thanks.

This is indeed the case.
But thing is: if you have two layers active, and you want to add the third, it would be much easier to long press the third, rather than pressing all three buttons together... At least, in live situations...

Thank you. I understand now that the proposal is for the current functionality to remain however a long press of the synth layer A, B, or C button would allow the layer to be added without taking away any others that might be selected. Thanks again.
