Everything about Nord keyboards in general; which one to choose, the sound manager, sample editor, and general discussion about the sample and piano libraries.

Loss of patch due to accidental program change

Post by Philipp »

Hi everyone,

how do you go about when programming patches? Sometimes I accidentally change program or a preset and lose all progress. Any hints or tips besides frequent saving?
I thought of using live mode, but I tend to forget when I'm in the middle of a creative phase.

Frequent saving, however I also save progress in steps over multiple programs so I have more points along the process I can go back to.

I use both live mode or frequent saving multiple versions, depending on where I am editing (Live buffer or Program). Keeping attention is the best hint, if you tend to forget saving then you would prefer the live buffers.
