I just created a patch like you described. It starts fine. But if I save it and reload the patch, the LFO is out of sync. And not in exactly the same way each time. One time I load it and they’re almost in sync. The next time they’re nearly complete opposites.

Nice to know.
So basically you can replicate what the NS3 does with one panel... using 2 layers!
Good to know (not exciting btw) but I assume that the new synth will have some further functions that NS3 has not.
Of course a dedicated FX chain si something very interesting, but hopefully there will be more.

Hello,
that is exactly what I have found as a limitation in Synth section on NS4. As I understand, solving this “problem” using 2 layers is not the same: each layer passes through its own filter (capable feature, but not traditional). I like Juno-like patch creating using one main plus one sub oscillator. Creating two osc patch with two different waveforms in octave interval is actually impossible on NS4 in one layer. This is main reason why I stay with NS3 with more traditional approach…

Yes it is a fair point, I also like this approach, or at least.... I'm used to play this approach!
That is quite usefull for blending sound with OSCs... and apply the same filters with related ENV and LFO.

Ok not that sure if I will go for a NS4 soon then... need to check out deeper how the new synth will work...
