The LIVE MODE is never protected by the MEMORY PROTECTION. It is a easy way to have 1 program, that immediately stores, whatever you manipualte on the sound. So it is not a good idea to store here things you want to recall next week.
Therefore are the programs. Here you should store programs for the same song closed together. The NORD SOUND MANAGER enables you to re-arrange the programs.

Bingo - turned off memory protect then followed your previous suggestion for storing. I can now store program sounds to the Live buffer... many thanks for bearing with me.
