We do not see the size of the piano so probably a piano preset.

I was thinking that but then I thought, why would he make a fuss over a single preset? There’s probably lots of new presets!

I hope it is a new piano because then I’ll have something new for my Piano 5 :)

If you enlarge the video, the name of the piano is also under the program name Hifi Grand. since where otherwise says White Grand or Bright Grand.

That is how a Piano Preset looks now. You have a Program, which can be made of up to three presets. Having downloaded and extracted the entire Stage 4 factor restore file, I can assure you, we have no new piano samples.

Seems like there is a new Grand Piano Sample on the board called HiFi Piano.
I quite like Tony's playing, and his no-nonsense delivery style for product demonstrations.

I've dealt with Bonners in the UK. They were excellent.

They've offered me £1,600 for my Nord Piano 5 part-exchange against a Nord Stage 4. The Piano 5 is £2,499. Food for thought!

Agreed. In a world filled with stupid memes, catchphrases, and the urge to inject irony in everything all the time, it's refreshing to hear someone simply... talking soberly! :)

Or maybe you move the drawbars to match the LED points before they then takeover?
How does it work in the Wave 2? Does the volume of each layer jump when you touch the fader, or is there a "catch-up" or "pass-through" mode?
I agree that for volumes having instant jumps would be inconvenient, it seems like an easy fix.

Volume levels jump on the wave 2 when you move the faders. Seems like they could offer few options on how to deal with that in the menus though.
Pause and use "." and "," to move back and forth. It's obstructed by his hand, but it looks like he pushes the fader up all the way first to catch the current setting and then pulls it down. The manual doesn't say anything about the behavior of the faders but for the poti style knobs it specifically says that they're snapping to the value.

Good catch. I think we have to just assume the faders work in this fashion too.

I answered this in another thread, so I repeat it here:

If I understand your question correctly, if I, say, layer two pianos, and set the volume sliders at 75% for Layer A, and 50% for Layer B and then store it - then when I recall the patch after otherwise messing about, the slider LED's will illuminate to the correct levels set when storing the patch, even though the physical sliders are not in that position.

When I subsequently move a slider, then it will sync with the LED's, as you would expect it to....
