I heard that the S6EX will be the most significant upgrade, worth to wait another couple of days/months/years
Meh. I heard with chip prices going up that the S7 is going to include real brass and woodwind players, miniaturized and placed inside the unit itself. Polyphony will be limited now to form factor, with the HA88 (HA meaning human accompaniment) having the most.
Care and feeding of your orchestra is recommended, but Nord provides enough supplies to last the warranty period.

Well they announced the NP5 out of nowhere so hopefully you are right about a Stage4 soon... But as others mentioned there are lots of rumors and they are totally unreliable. However, Namm cancelled the winter show so there is no reason to wait till January for a new release they can do it anytime regardless of NAMM as they did in the past. I like manufacturers for example Korg and Studiologic that don't stick to the NAMM schedule and they announce products months before Namm and Korg also has a "future products" section which is also a huge help when planning on buying/saving up money in advance for a new gear.
Here in the US, we have Taco Bell. They serve the same basic ingredients literally dozens of different ways: taco meat, cheese, beans, etc. packaged as a Grand Chalupa or similar. I saw the NP5 as a nice repackaging job using the same basic ingredients. The shorter version will definitely popular.
The one feature I would want from any potential NS4 would be more sophisticated sample handling, e.g. multilayer, etc. That would be done via software, and very likely available for the NS3 as well. So not sure what a NS4 can uniquely bring that really sets it apart from the NS3. So now I have two NS3s vs. waiting for the NS4.
