There is a substantial amount of force being applied from those arms. I use a mic stand with a boom for vocals, so it looks like that articulating arm would be a good start- and only out $29 if I don't like it.

I use a Galaxy Tab A8 tablet and this holder. Works great.....very versatile and well made.
