Filter turns off

Hello, guys.
When I change sample (sample mode) in my nord wave 2 filter turn off. This happens every time the sample is changed. This is bug?

Hey, Andy-

This is by design. The samples are pre-processed and don't use the onboard filter. This happens with all the samples. You can turn the filter on, of course, and adjust it to your liking, but the default samples will always turn off the filter-

I think I understand what Andy means. The filter should only be turned of when switching to "raw sample", but after rotating through the options, the filter gets generally turned of, even if I leave "raw sample". Strangely, if I rotate to "raw sample" again after the filter has turned itself off, on this position a new filter setting is turned on agin. It really gets confusing because the SAMPLE LEDs seem to loose their correspondency after circling through the functions, only skip attack works right.

Also the Amp Env seems to get reset when loading a different sample, e.g. release time.

Any time a new sample is loaded, the built in settings (amp, filter) are initiated.

AFAIR I was switching between two of my user created samples. Not sure if those contain any of such built in settings at all?

Interesting point. I am not sure how the instrument behaves in this case, will have to do some testing of my own. My guess is that any loaded sample will turn the filter off, regardless if it has pre programmed settings like the factory samples from Nord.

Sounds like the normal behavior to me, as stated above the default is that the filter and amp have pre-programmed settings when loading a sample. You can adjust the amp as you like, and you can turn on the filter as well, it's just an extra button press

This is not a normal behaviour. If you leave "raw sample" or rotate through the sample oscillator settings, the filter should be turned on again.
